  • Education in Afghanistan

    (1979 – 1992) During the war of Afghanistan with Russia, Dignity of Man helped deliver books to schools inside Afghanistan and paid the salaries of many teachers to keep some schools open.  Dignity of Man also delivered food, clothing, toys and medicine on a regular basis.

  • Project Freedom

    (1993 – 1997) A media literacy program designed to demystify filmmaking through hands-on experience, providing young people the opportunity to work with film industry professionals.  Music videos and public service announcements speaking out against violence and racism have been produced by youth in a mentoring environment.

  • Offspring Urban Farms

    (1992 – 1997) A groundbreaking educational, life skills and job training program for incarcerated youth at Camp Holton (a division of Los Angeles County Juvenile Probation and County Schools Systems)
